A butler with no agenda is free to do whatever he wishes - at least until his young master remembers himself again. He is reliably reassured that the "enchantment" that appears to have trapped a majority of the people of Somarium will be short-lived. After all, that would take a massive amount of power to prolong. He was keen to meet the person responsible for such a large scale maneuver.
[But for the present, he was focused on his instrument, starting to play. The sun is setting on his first night in Somarium, and so he chose a somber selection for the occasion]
