It would seem that my young master has been thoroughly exhausted by recent events and finds himself predisposed for the time being. [Translation: Ciel is in a sleep coma and Sebastian feels the need to share this with everyone. It doubles over as a polite cancellation of any prior engagements on the behalf of the earl]

I will gladly send any regards as soon as he is able to receive them.

In the interim, I've been working on preparing jam rolls. I'm told they are best enjoyed during colder weather months and I'm trying to perfect a recipe.

As a gesture of the Phantomhive hospitality, I would be honored if anyone would be willing and available for a taste. [Chuckles] I don't think we need to concern ourselves about disturbing the earl, nor shall we be interrupted.

Given enough time, one can find quite a few variations on what one would consider a 'traditional' recipe. As lovely as the tradtional way is, the latter is certainly gaining in popularity, especially among those with a sweet tooth.

Now that would depend upon the type of tea now, wouldn't it? I certainly wouldn't imagine pairing it with certain flavoured teas they make these days.

One can hardly go wrong with a nice Earl Gray. It also usually pairs quite well with most pastries and cakes.
